I left my liver in San Francisco

Trip to San Fran -> Recently spent a little time in the bay area @ Magnolia’s and Marin and im really hoping to try and get a  lot more of their staple offerings down here. Of course we love it when we get a cask or a specialty keg but frankly there are so many great beers on tap in a myriad of styles and highly sessionable it’s ridiculous to not have more.  I was lucky enough to hit Marin when Arnie had just bottled (30 minutes prior) fresh white knuckle! My goodness it was soo tasty!!  Magnolia’s just blew me away with their English style brown stout bitter! Big mouth feel but lower ABV 3.7-4.5 now that’s a change of pace. The guys as usual were great and I can tell you they have the best hand crafted artisanal sausages I have had in the last decade.. 2 stops when your in the bay area you can’t afford to miss. Go soon and get the lamb sausage best ive ever had!

Couple cool places i hit outside the amazing beer. Alembic in upper haight great scotch, artisan plates and frothy drinks, Zeitgeist bloody mary’s in the beer garden with some alt country. must have!
