Hamiltons Wins Best Beer Selection 2007 San Diego Citybeat
We were lucky enough to win Best Beer Selection 2007 from the good folks at our favorite local zine the SD City Beat. Thanks to you who may have thought of us when you voted it’s very nice to have won an acknowledgement such as that and from myself and the staff we want to thank all of you who thought about us!! We won this award without any significant beer offerings from 2 local breweries 1 North of us and 1 East of us. We’ve tried over the last year to build positive and healthy relationships to get better beer from them for you but in the end had to give up the endeavor because it just wasnt going anywhere. I have a feeling i know why that is but in the balance of karma it doesnt much matter. I always scratched my head when thinking about how we could build better relationships in other regions of the states then in our own backyard because we’ve always been about small businesses, promoting great beer without pretense, supporting other local bars that share this charter and being great beer enthusiasts. I kept trying month after month but finally took the hint and focused positive energy on building other relationships then being confused and disappointed. Having said that enough people thought of us and our business to win this award and for this we’re quite honored!
