Vampires and the great american Ketchup conspiracy!
Couple new places and shout out’s!
The Ritual Tavern – 4095 30th st, adding to the infamout 30th st corridor of hamiltons, whistle stop, linkery, pink elephant and now The Ritual with taps and cookery. When we were working on our lease details and getting underway the had been about 1.5 months into their build out and finally it’s open. I had a wonderful jambalaya made with wild rice and a Dupont Biere De Miel and Damnation. Local brews on tap and a unique flare and some of the standards you may expect (fish n chips, meat pie, jambalaya) Friendly Staff, yummy food, great owners, quality beer, fabulous location.
Neighborhood bar – Downtown 8th and G, Rich Berkely and a couple partners have opened a burger and beer establishment in the Gaslamp. You definitely should stop in on the way to the ballpark, with a large tap handle list and a good handful of great local beers it instantly becomes one of the rare
places you can find great beer downtown. I mean if not for DTJB’s and now the new Neighborhood where could you find really good local beer in abundance downtown?
